How to rescue stray cats trapped by sticky mouse traps?
When the little cat first arrived, his tail was covered in glue, likely from a sticky mouse trap. It was very difficult to deal with. After doing some research, the owner decided to try using olive oil to dissolve the glue, then wash it with dish soap. The process took a long time and required careful attention to every spot with glue, rubbing and scrubbing to remove the sticky dirt. The owner also constantly comforted the cat, offering head pats and encouraging words.
Thanks to the cooperation of this little stray, the glue was finally washed away (it did take quite a bit of olive oil, using up most of the bottle). He now looks as good as new!
Named Adai, the male cat has already been TNR-ed (ear-tipped) and is now looking for a home. Hopefully, he can find an adopter who is attracted to him and can give Adai a new home!
We hope that stray cats will no longer encounter things like sticky mouse traps, as life is already difficult for them. We are grateful for the caring service provided by the shop, and we believe that little Adai, who has been treated with kindness, will also be grateful.
